exploring the low tide zone

The sounds that accompany tide-pooling are unexpected.

The constant drip, drip, drip on the rocks.

The scurrying of crabs against the rocks, running for refuge.

The calm splashing of the sea.

The mewing of the gulls.

I love the photos - especially the crab. Ah! In just a week I get to take my dad to the coast. It'll be his first time seeing the ocean since he was a boy growing up in Puerto Rico :-) Your photos just reminded me off all the cool stuff we'll see. Thanks!
