I was supposed to go on an extended vacation to Europe. I was living in the middle of nowhere down a dirt road. My sister was supposed to be catching a flight too, but I couldn't get anyone to take me to the airport. So I called a taxi. They said it would be at least 30 minutes and that would make me miss my flight. I was waiting in a very scurrilous neighborhood. Somehow I finally got to the airport, but of course I had not only missed my flight but lost my passport as well. The ticket counters were all closed and I was having a very difficult time getting help rerouting. Little starving boys were begging for food and I gave them something.
