Well, my Amharic software isn't working right with Windows 7, so I took a break from learning to read (after an indulgent cry) and worked on the dossier. The employment letter has been reviewed by the agency and declared okay. I wrote up the introduction letter to the Ethiopian government and the letter to the orphanage, printed the POAs, got a copy of the lease, filled out the family information form and the I-600A application to adopt an orphan, which results in an I-171H (?) or something. I'm confused by that one, but this is US Immigration we're dealing with. My stack of documents to be notarized is growing. My goal is to have the dossier ready to mail as soon as the ink's dry on the home study.
