I'm just back from picking up the revised homestudy and mailing it off priority mail. Second fingerprint appointment (for John) is Thursday. Fingers crossed that we can pass this hurdle and be ready to submit within the month. Ethiopia will almost certainly be closed for rainy season by the time we submit, but R@du told me we'll be placed in order for processing by the date they receive our dossier. I go back and forth between expecting to wait about another year and being really excited by the way things are still progressing despite a few glitches.
I'm off to West Virginia next week to visit Robin and her daughter. Next summer vacation with my own!
